A wild night of draft action saw four QBs taken in the top 10 and two big trades. Mel Kiper Jr. evaluates the entire class of 2025 rookie quarterbacks and looks at the team-by-team picks to see who landed in good spots.
Kiper also sifts through the rest of Round 1 and looks at some of the interesting choices in the early rounds. The most intriguing question marks revolve around the New Orleans Saints, as sources indicate they want to acquire additional depth at multiple positions on defense.
2025’s best after-the-catch wideouts
Judkins is a versatile TE with strong north-to-south speed and a knack for generating yards after the catch. He has a high-floor as a second-string TE in a strong run-heavy offense, but his lack of power could limit his ceiling.
Robinson is an NFL-ready edge with a bully mentality and above-average pass-rush skills. He has some length limitations and needs to improve his pad level, but he has enough quickness and power to be an effective rotational rusher at the next level.
